Beck Does it Again.
I’ve been a big Beck fan for a while now. I remember being in 6th grade when “Where it’s At” was released and all of the older kids listened to it constantly…it was like they had a key to the cool door that I didn’t have. Of course that had a lot to do with the fact that I was still wearing Keds and carrying a Trapper Keeper.
In the summer of 2008, Beck released the album ‘Modern Guilt’ and squandered any doubt Beck fans had that his career was near its end. This summer, Beck has reaffirmed his place in the industry with the recent track, “Let’s Get Lost”. “Let’s Get Lost” is a collaboration between Beck and British singer/songwriter Natasha Khan (also known as “Bat for Lashes”). The track is a very electronic, yet melodic take on romance. I’m definitely digging it.
