You Got Me

Honestly, I haven’t given Erykah Badu much thought since junior high when I was quelled by the constant air play of  “Tyrone”.  But about a month ago I heard another one of her hits and it took me right back to my roots.  

No doubt this 1999 collaboration between Ms. Badu and The Roots will rattle some souls like it did mine. If you want to see her live she’ll be at Constitution Hall on Friday, May 28. I’ll be on the West coast, or else I’d be front row.
